Short description on this series of work:
my work has always dealt primarily with the limitations of a frame and the a flatness and surfaces of painting and drawing. recently, i have started to explore the possibility of making artwork without use of traditional drawing and painting materials.
elements i focus on are texture. material and technique. i use piercing with penknife as a wasy to achieve purity in my work. Most of the artworks i produce ar mainly for aesthetic and aimed at dispelling any interpretive reading.

‘Out of Our Imagination’ will feature some 50 thought-provoking and experiential works presented by 33 emerging talents, expressed in a variety of media ranging from print making, ceramics, Chinese ink and Western painting, drawing, installation, video art, and contemporary writing. Reflections on questions of identity, memory, the psychological relations between people, objects and places, and poetic investigations of our city landscape are just some of the themes explored creatively.
